Streets of Fire is the second album of the melodic hard rock / album-oriented rock (AOR) project Place Vendome. The songwriting for this album was provided by Torsti Spoof (Leverage), Ronny Milianowicz (Saint Deamon), Robert Sall (Work of Art) and Magnus Karlsson (Primal Fear)[3][4].
A music video was filmed for the song My Guardian Angel, marking the visual return of vocalist Michael Kiske since 1996 [5].
The album received very positive reviews, as did Place Vendome's self titled debut album. According to some reviews Streets of Fire was even stronger than the debut, because it featured better songwriting and more musical variety [6][7].
It was released in 20 February 2009 with cover art credited to Carl André Beckston.
